Can't Connect Wireless Internet

Thank God, we got our internet service back just this morning. I was trying my luck by calling ATT customer service again and this time I was able to get an agent on the phone that helped me set up a connection. It was an awesome experience to be able to communicate with someone who is willing to help me solve our problem.

Now, my concern is that I cannot connect wireless internet to my laptop. If I unplug the blue cable and move it to our wireless router my internet doesn't seem to work. If I can have ample time this afternoon to look at the settings deeper perhaps I can do it successfully. Cross fingers with that.
