Weewww my husband is on facebook too!!!!! I know him pretty well. He is not the kind of person that easily gets hooked to networking sites like facebook. Yes, he uses internet a lot when he has time or when he's off work but he would only read his news, search for things on craigslist/ebay and participate in political forums and that's it.
We only created his account on facebook so his kids from previous marriage whom he haven't seen for 12 years could find him through FB. So far, we succeeded although there is not a chance of seeing them in person (at least for now) but we're hoping someday, we will or they will see their father.
But anyways, my husband is on facebook right now and guess what? I think he likes it a lot now that he's finding his old classmates way back in highschool. I really believe I got him into FB too hehehe. Yes! Success!

It's a good source of finding old mates ang family man gud ang Facebook noh.
