Just like what I posted in my previous entries that we were gonna go shopping. We did, last Saturday and guess what? We spent 178 dollars for my food alone. Hongkong Market is a huge store with plenty of good stuff that is hard to resist. I bought lots of dried fish, green and leafy vegetables, filipino noodles (canton and special ricesticks), salted anchovy, frozen products (horseraddish leave or kamunggay, marinated milk fish etc), fresh meats, canned goods and a whole lot more. I think it was the dried fish that cost us so much for each pack costs 4.99 USD and I bought several of them.
I have no regret though for I am happy to be able to cook filipino dishes once again. It will be worth 3 weeks of not buying anything at a regular or what I call American grocery store. Good thing I have my husband who willingly feed me and paid for my foods with no complaints at all. Lucky me eh!
